Hate List by Jennifer Brown
I have read two parts of this book now, so I know some more characters than the last recap. Now I know of Frankie, Valeries little brother. To me he seems like a good brother because he seems to care about her and her issues. Mr. Kline, the one who saved the kids by taking the shot. He seems like a good guy who really cares about the kids. Jessica Campbell seems stuck up and is a bad person because she makes fun of Valerie. She deserves what she got. Detective Panzella seems a little fishy to me. I don't like him he ask to many questions. Dr. Dentley the Garvin General staff psychiatrist seems like an OK guy. The title is making a lot more sense to me as i continue to read on. I liked Part 1 more than I liked Part 2. It seems like there was more action in Part 1 and that more things happened. Part 2 is kind of like continuous the same thing over and over again. It also has a lot of flashing back. I am not a big fan of the flash backs, but this book has kept my interest so far. I will continue to read and am hoping that the book continues to keep my interest.

Hate List recap
Hate List by Jennifer Brown
I will be choosing just a hand full of the topics to talk about this book. I have only read like fifty pages so I will sum it up best I can. The title, Hate List seems that it takes a big role in this book because in the beginning there is a High school shooting and as the chapter goes on they begin to talk about "a list" of people they do not like. The main character Valerie seems like she is lost without her boyfriend Nick. Nick on the other hand seems like he gets himself in trouble a lot and is a bad impression on Valerie. Valeries Mom is also another big character in this book. She to me is a rude person who does not really treat Valerie all that great. She also puts alot of pressure on her by rushing her for school and always talks about the counselor. Then there is Valerie's counselor, Dr. Hieler. He seems like he knows what he is talking about and is helping Valerie. It seems like her Mom is always talking about what she should do, just because Dr. Hieler said so. Usually I am not a big reader my self but so far this book has kept my interest which is rare. I will continue to read it and find out more about what is going on.

Reading Preference
I am going to be talking about my reading needs and how I like the scene when I am reading. This is like my Writing class collage task, except that was for my writing situations and scenery. When I am reading, I like it to just be me by myself. I just feel that I can focus a lot better and all my time is on my readings. Like my writing, I like to have something to drink while I am reading, it just boost my focus a lot better. When my mind is clear is my best time to read, because I do not have anything else that I am thinking about, I am giving my readings my 100% attention at all times. That is how I comprehend it way better. The time of day is not a factor for me, but the purpose of my reading is. It is hard for me to enjoy what I am reading if I have no intentions of reading it. For example, if my reading was about something like girls clothing, I would have no interest in reading it. I like what I am reading to relate to me. If it was something to do with sports then it would be perfect to me. I can easily understand it. This are all things that I would like to improve on so I can become a better reading and stretch my knowledge more and more.
